Join Pastry Chicago for the Student Wedding Cake Competition: 

Rules and Regulations

Theme is "Love" : the cake must presented must reflect the theme of the competition

Must present a 3 tiered, round dummy cake

Cake must haev a 6", 10" and 12" round layers

The total dimensions of the cake (including decoration) can not exceed 18"w x 18"d x 18"h

All decorations must be edible with the exception of wire/toothpicks to attach decorations to the cake layers, a cake board and the cake layers themselves



Prizes

Every participant will receive a Certificate of Participation and compliementary box of chocolates

Second and Third Prize for each level - gifts from Wilton and Kendall

First Prize for Culinary Level Student - French Pastry School Master Continuing Education Class with Chef Nicholas Lodge

First Prize for High School Level Student - French Pastry School Amateur Continuing Education Class with Chef Laura Ragano

the Love of Chocolate: The cake presented must reflect the theme of the competition.

Judging

You have from 5pm - 6pm to set up your cake, space is limited, no working on the spot allowed

Each Entry must be the sole work of the entrant

The judging will begin at 6pm till completed

Winners will be announced at 8pm

Demonstrations will take place from 6pm to 8pm
