It is time for all you wonderful bakers with a favorite pie recipe to put it to the test.
We are holding an Amateur Autumn Pie Competition Saturday September 27th and you have a chance at bringing home some great prizes, see below.
Everyone is welcome to attend the FREE demonstration! (only the first 30 entries will be accepted for the competition)
| 12:30 pm | Contestants may begin to arrive with pies |
| 1:00 pm | Entries must be set up for judging |
| 1:15 - 2:15 pm | Seasonal Tarts Demonstration (all are welcome) by Chef John Kraus, The French Pastry School Judging begins |
| 2:15 - 3:15 pm | Networking and Social hour Refreshments provided by Whole Foods |
| 3:15 pm | Results are announced |

Rules and Regulations:
- Contestants must submit (2) 9" pies for judging and (2) 9" pies for display-decoration and presentation.
- All contestants must use but are not limited to the following ingredients: Nielsen Massey
Vanilla, Plugrá European-Style Butter, King Arthur Flour. - Pie recipes must be submitted with pies.
- Pies are served cold. No baking will take place at Whole Foods.
- Each entry must be solely the work of the entrant.
- All pies and decoration must be edible.
- Entries must be in place for judging by 1:00 pm (begin to arrive at 12:30 pm)
