Sixth Annual Amateur Gingerbread House Competition »
The City of Chicago is known for being a destination for foodies of all types but it’s never truly been this delicious. For Pastry Chicago’s Sixth Annual Gingerbread Competition, we invite you to go beyond traditional cottages and create tasty skyscrapers, museums, public spaces, and other landmarks from around Chicago that would make Hansel and Gretel drool. Fashion your best gingerbread recipe and sweet decorations into your favorite, iconic Chicago destination for a chance to win the best baking equipment from KitchenAid.
All contestants and attendees will be able to enjoy an educational demonstration by a Chef Instructor from The French Pastry School of Kennedy-King College. If you’d like to attend without competing, please RSVP for the event by writing to info@pastrychicago.org with your name, email, and phone number.
