Calling all baking enthusiasts; we are looking for a maximum of thirty bakers to enter the 1st annual Amateur Sugar Cookie Competition held at Whole Foods Saturday September 6th.
Give us a sampling of your tasty cookies and have a chance to win some marvelous prizes, details below.
Everyone is welcome to attend the demonstration!
(only the first 30 entries will be accepted for the competition)
| 12:30 pm | Contestants can begin to arrive with cookies |
| 1:00 pm | Entries must be set up for judging |
| 1:15 - 2:15 pm | Demonstration (all are welcome) by Chef Laura Ragano of The French Pastry School Judging begins |
| 2:30 - 3:30 pm | Networking and Social hour Refreshments provided by Whole Foods, Nespresso and Nestle |
| 3:30 pm | Results are announced |

Rules and Regulations:
- Contestants must submit 50 cookies for judging and 10 cookies for display
- Cookie recipes must be submitted with the cookies
- No baking is done on premises
- All contestants must use but are not limited to the following ingredients: Nielsen Massey Vanilla, Plugrá European-Style Butter, King Arthur Flour, Callebaut Chocolate
- Each entry must be solely the work of the entrant
- Cookies must be at least 1.5" in diameter and no larger than 8" in diameter
- All cookies and decorations must be edible
