Open House:
An Open House will be held at The Wilton School of Cake Decorating & Confectionery Art in Darien, Ill., on Saturday, June 14, 2008, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to celebrate Wilton Industries’ 80th Anniversary.
Cake Contest:
If you enjoy decorating cakes, show off your talent in The Wilton School’s 80th Anniversary Cake Decorating Contest and help us get the celebration started! The contest will be held on Saturday, June 14th in conjunction with Wilton School’s Open House commemorating the 80th Anniversary. The contest theme is "Past and Present," and will feature both professional and non-professional divisions.
The contest is open to the first 65 entries, so make sure your application is submitted early. Applications along with the $25 entry fee will be accepted beginning April 15th. The contest is open to all U.S. residents 18 years or older.
Applications and official rules can be downloaded at www.wilton.com, obtained by calling 630-810-2888 or in person at The Wilton School of Cake Decorating & Confectionery Art, located at 7511 Lemont Road in Darien, Ill. Each entry will receive a Wilton commemorative shirt.
